We’re looking for a Chief AI Officer to join our executive team and lead that leap.

What’s the Mission?

As Chief AI Officer, reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll shape how AI transforms our platforms, products, and user experiences — from dynamic pricing and personalization engines to real-time merchant insights and operational AI tools.

What You’ll Lead:

• Design and lead Zap’s end-to-end AI strategy across 20+ platforms.
• Enhance personalization, recommendation engines, and dynamic pricing for 17M users.
• Build and scale AI analytics that generate powerful insights for consumers and businesses alike.
• Champion operational AI — from smart automation to fraud detection and AI-powered support.
• Lead a talented AI team, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing.
• Serve as Zap’s thought leader in AI — internally and externally — keeping us ahead of the curve.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in AI/ML, with 5+ years in a leadership role — ideally in e-commerce, B2C platforms, or marketplaces.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Proven ability to scale AI systems that directly impact user growth, engagement, and revenue.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or similar (PhD or MBA is a bonus).
