Re7 utilises our deep crypto network and proprietary data infrastructure to drive investment decisions for a number of DeFi and alpha strategies. We also work with leading projects and blockchains to design their DeFi ecosystem, provide on-chain risk curation and vault management services through Re7 Labs. Re7 has a dynamic team with a strong background in investment management, data science and crypto.

We are looking for a talented Special Project Analyst - your role is to support our Re7 Labs business by researching, validating, and executing new business strategies at the convergence of Fintech and Web3.

Responsibilities

• Construct industry research and mapping exercises to identify and validate new business opportunities and acquisition targets that Re7 can take advantage of
• Document products / industry developments / business models and present recommendations to the Labs team
• Work closely with the Re7 Labs team on market developments that inform business opportunities and challenges by establishing strong information flows promptly and accurately
• Monitor industry trends in Web3, fintech, and traditional finance to inform long-term strategic planning
• Capture, consolidate and synthesise feedback on Re7's products and services to enable us to keep pace with changing requirements
• Provide research content for publishing on blogs & socials
  
  

• Proven track record and 1+ years experience of Web3 research, VC, consulting
• 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of experience in TradFi / Product (VC, M&A, strategy consulting, Fintechs, etc.)
• Experience building lasting relationships with a range of different types and size of DeFi / Crypto client base
• Excellent communication, organisational, time management and planning skills
• Strong work ethic and results focused, taking ownership & accountability for consistent results
• University graduate
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and the commitment to excel in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership

• Research and map the DeFi yield landscape (lending, LPs, staking, RWAs, points farming) to identify protocols with strong risk-adjusted returns and institutional traction
• Analyze TradFi/fintech yield-like products and propose integration paths with DeFi vaults via APIs, custodians, or wrappers
• Recommend and justify the top three integration opportunities for Re7 based on market size, tech fit, and yield stability
• Upload a 1-2 minute video explaining your proposal
