Senior C# Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer specializing in C# and .NET to join our team in a dynamic and innovative defense technology environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that support mission-critical applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including system architects, cybersecurity experts, and hardware engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend services using C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 6+).
• Develop APIs, data access layers, and integration solutions with external systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.), including schema design and query optimization.
• Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and compliance with defense industry requirements.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the architecture of large-scale software systems in a secure environment.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in backend development with C# and .NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in secure or classified environments – an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Hebrew – advantage.
