PHP Team leader

As the Team Leader for our Senior Developer team, you will harness your expertise and leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of talented developers. Your role will involve overseeing the design, development, and optimization of our SaaS applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and robust software. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and ensuring project alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable applications for our SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the team writes clean, efficient, and reusable code, maintaining high performance and responsiveness.
• Facilitate architectural discussions and provide guidance on improving application performance and scalability.
• Oversee debugging and resolution of technical issues, ensuring optimization of code for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment strategies and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data security and user privacy compliance across development projects.
• Work closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and specifications.
• Monitor team progress and performance, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and their application in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, MySQL, and other database systems.
• Familiarity with GCP or other cloud services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Comprehensive understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Vue.js frameworks and technologies.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
