We are seeking an experienced Backup and Storage Specialist to join a high-profile classified project for a leading defense client. This is a hands-on, critical role requiring a deep understanding of backup infrastructures, with a primary focus on Commvault technologies.
💼 Key Responsibilities:- Design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level backup and storage systems
- Manage Commvault-based backup environments, ensuring data integrity and availability
- Draft high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD)
- Perform proactive system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Lead and execute storage and backup projects involving complex architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience managing enterprise backup and storage systems
- Hands-on experience with Commvault – must
- Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems – must
- Experience working with SAN switch environments (Cisco/Brocade)
- Familiarity with NAS systems and scalable storage solutions
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure in secure, mission-critical environments
- Eligibility for security clearance – mandatory
