DevOps Manager

Bootstrap company specializing in the Cloud domain. The company helps startups reduce cloud costs through expert guidance in building custom-tailored architectures, alongside a proprietary product that enables significant savings on EC2 On-Demand server costs with simple integration and zero risk.

Located in central Israel, near a train line, with a hybrid model that includes one work-from-home day per week.

The company currently has around 70 paying customers in Israel and abroad, a team of ~20 employees, and is experiencing significant growth.

The role includes recruiting and leading the DevOps team, solving complex technical challenges, promoting a culture of learning, building infrastructure from scratch, and managing full end-to-end migrations to AWS and Kubernetes at large scale. Initially, the position includes a high level of hands-on involvement.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in production environments
• One year of experience in leading or managing a DevOps team
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and IaC tools
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (or similar language) for scripting purposes
• Familiarity with tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and Aider
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of networking and core infrastructure concepts
• Background in securing cloud environments
