Technical Support Engineer

Global high-tech company specializing in real-time location solutions for the healthcare sector.

Develops integrated hardware-software products using Wi-Fi and RFID technologies, focused on communication and tracking solutions for hospitals, clinics, and senior care facilities.

Their systems enable tracking of assets and temperature monitoring, providing critical data to improve patient care and ensure proper handling of medications.

About the role-

• Provides Tier III technical support for RTLS/LTC products via phone, email, remote tools, and Salesforce
• Leads advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, network, and 3rd party systems
• Mentors Tier I/II support engineers and assists in escalated cases
• Works closely with development and QA teams; participates in beta testing
• Recreates customer environments in-house for issue diagnosis
• Performs upgrades, configurations, and installations of company software
• Participates in on-call support rotation and occasional on-site visits
• Maintains expertise in company products, support processes, and delivery methods

Requirements-

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Networking
• 5+ years in technical support or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, VPNs, certificates, load balancers
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL (basic queries, job monitoring, structure understanding)
• Strong knowledge of enterprise wired/wireless networking and Wireshark trace analysis
• Familiar with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and wireless tools (e.g., Airwave, Cisco DNA Center)
• Experience with leading wireless vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Meru) is a plus
• Self-driven, team-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure
