We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our founding team and lead the charge in developing real-world, high-impact AI models for healthcare. If you're passionate about building models that don't just live in notebooks—but drive life-saving decisions at scale—you’ll thrive here.

• Develop and deploy ML models using structured + unstructured health data
• Work on time series, risk prediction, and natural language insights
• Partner with engineers and clinicians to turn insights into action
• Lead model experimentation, validation, and monitoring in production
• Help shape the data science culture and roadmap at Kima
  

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch)
• Strong experience with real-world data, ideally in healthcare, finance, or regulated domains
• Solid grasp of statistics, causal inference, and model evaluation
• Bonus: experience with healthcare data (claims, EMRs, HL7/FHIR, etc.)
