About the Role:

Aseel is currently looking for technical writers to join its new business team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an impactful technology company that is changing the way international development and humanitarian work is done. The technical writer is going to be part of a team that brings onwards important partnerships and deals (B2B) that will enable both the Do Good (Humanitarian) and Buy Good (Handmade) platforms to excel.

What You’ll Achieve

• Administrative support: scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, external coordination.
• Familiarise with USAID business forecast functions
• Supports the New Business team through application generation and general New Business outputs.
• Research: background research on relevant partner, country overview, economic development etc.
• Proposal Development: outreach, data gathering, content research, budgeting, responses, proposals
• Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
• Supports the design and potential implementation of New Business efforts.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
• Provides support to the New Business Lead whenever needed.
• Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to Aseel.
• Engages in Aseel representation and finding and pursuing New Business opportunities of interest to Aseel.
• Supports Aseel overall growth team when appropriate.
