The Job

We've recently started development on a new casual game with a fresh & unique gameplay mechanic.

We're looking for a Gameplay Artist to join our team. In this role, you'll shape the game's visual and aesthetic direction and be actively involved in the day-to-day product and gameplay decision-making process.

Responsibilities

• Create and iterate on visual assets across different product phases, from concept through testing and release.
• Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and developers to deliver polished, appealing, and exciting gameplay elements.
• Enhance the player experience by identifying opportunities to make interactions more fun, clear, and memorable.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the mobile gaming industry, preferably in the early stages of game production.
• Proficient in 2D art and animation tools with a readiness to learn new tools required in our pipeline, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer and Spine.
• Solid skills in art, design, and animation, able to bring character to mundane objects while considering their usability.
• Understands game design principles, mechanics, and player behavior.
• Technically curious and comfortable discussing solutions with developers.
• Creative, independent, and self-motivated team player (AKA you’re a nice person to work with).
