GigaSpaces is looking for a strategic and business-driven Director of Sales Development to lead our global BDR (Business Development Representative) team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and scaling SDR/BDR teams in a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment, with a strong ability to connect sales execution to broader business goals.
You will be responsible for shaping and generating our outbound and inbound pipeline strategy, mentoring a team, and driving operational excellence across the sales development function.

This position is full time, hybrid and located in Herzeliya.
Responsibilities:
Lead a high-performing, metrics-driven BDR team.
Develop and execute a scalable sales development strategy aligned with company objectives
Set clear KPIs and performance frameworks, and drive accountability through data
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product to optimize pipeline generation
Build and refine outreach processes, messaging, and workflows
Coach team members to reach their full potential.
Hire and onboard top talent as the team scales
Provide strategic input to executive leadership based on pipeline insights and market feedback
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales development, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience working in a SaaS company or startup environment
- Proven success in managing teams toward measurable pipeline and revenue goals
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen – ability to connect day-to-day work with long-term vision
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CRM and sales ennoblement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot)
- Highly organised and motivated, with the ability to lead through personal example, influence and inspire teams
- Experience working with global or remote teams
- Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or enterprise sales motion
- Background in selling to mid-market or enterprise clients
