We are searching for the best talent for Advanced Technology Fellow to be in Yokneam.

The Advanced Technology Fellow will play a pivotal role at the intersection of systems, catheters, and prototyping within our incubator environment, focusing on the development of innovative medical devices in the context of the latest scientific research. This position is designed for an innovative thinker who excels in multidisciplinary system design, pushing the boundaries of traditional methodologies and thinking through comprehensive implication of each design. The fellow will be entrusted with the challenge of pushing existing paradigms, promoting a culture of dynamic experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking that stimulates both personal growth and team performance. The incumbent will be expected to challenge existing paradigms and foster adaptive thinking within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Innovation: work closely with Directors of Systems and Catheters to drive the swift advancement of medical device prototypes, ensuring alignment with the latest technological trends, science and user needs.
• Multidisciplinary Problem-Solving: utilize diverse expertise to tackle complex challenges in medical device development, integrating knowledge from various fields that can enhance product design and efficiency and system architecture.
• Foster a Culture of Experimentation: engage in critical thinking and prototyping initiatives, encouraging the team to test assumptions and iteratively improve upon innovative medical technologies.
• Mentorship and Leadership: provide guidance to team members, helping them expand their perspectives and develop innovative frameworks that challenge conventional thought processes in the medical device space.
• Strategic Development: create and implement actionable strategies that promote scalable and sustainable advancements in medical technology, aligning with the incubator's mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship
  
  

• Required: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field from a reputable institution.
  
  

• Required Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in research and development, with at least 5-7 years in a senior technical leadership within a complex , multi disciplinary technological environment.
• Industry Focus: A proven track record in R&D leadership, specifically with experience in developing systems involving sensors, signal processing, imaging, and 3D technologies.
• Entrepreneurial Drive: Evidence of an "entrepreneurial spirit" through past initiatives, new product launches, or successful ventures within a corporate setting or as part of a startup.
  
  

• Core Systems Engineering: Deep expertise in systems engineering principles, capable of integrating complex hardware, software, and algorithmic components into cohesive technological solutions.
• Advanced Signal & Image Processing: Profound knowledge and practical experience in advanced signal processing and image processing, including 3D algorithms, for medical applications.
• Sensing & Tracking Technologies: Strong background in various sensing modalities (e.g., electromagnetic, impedance, ultrasound, optical) and their application in real-time tracking and navigation systems.
• Software & Hardware Development: Hands-on experience or strong oversight capability in both hardware design and embedded system software development.
• Data Science & AI/ML: Demonstrated understanding and practical application of data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in medical device development, particularly for diagnostic or therapeutic guidance.
• Intellectual Property: Experience in contributing to or managing intellectual property portfolios, including patent generation and strategy.
  
  

• Visionary Leadership: Ability to define and articulate a compelling technological vision for the core technology function, aligning with the company's long-term strategic goals.
• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to identify emerging technological trends, assess their relevance to our business, and translate them into actionable R&D initiatives.
