Economist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Economist to join our Listing Companies Compliance Unit within the Economic Department. The role involves direct interaction with listed companies, analysis of market disclosures, and operational decision-making within a dynamic capital markets environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling disclosures and announcements from listed companies, including analysis and temporary trading halts using "Maya" and "Inca" systems

• Managing securities in accordance with maintenance rules

• Monitoring and processing company payments

• Managing and tracking the related parties system

• Overseeing securities of companies in financial distress

• Preparing briefing papers for the Board of Directors

• Conducting discussions with listed companies

• Supporting additional departmental tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting – required (Finance specialization preferred)

• Master’s degree – an advantage

• Knowledge of the capital market and securities regulation

• Familiarity with listed companies and ability to analyze corporate disclosures – an advantage

• Ability to work with external stakeholders, including regulators

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English

• Fast reader with strong analytical and writing abilities

• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings (from 7:30 AM) or evenings (until 6:30 PM) as needed
