Job Title: IT Help Desk Technician
Company: Electra Power
We are seeking a dedicated and technology-driven Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our employees, efficiently resolving a wide range of IT issues, maintaining seamless IT infrastructure operation, and ensuring smooth employee equipment management.
Key Responsibilities:
User Account Management:
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
- Administrate employee permissions and passwords on Active Directory.
- Manage, Configure and Apply GPOs.
Help Desk Support:
- Utilize user request management systems to address and resolve employee issues and inquiries within defined SLA timelines.
- Manage employee assets, including both hardware and software.
- Provide clear and understandable support to non-technical staff.
- Document incident resolutions and maintain accurate service records.
PC Support:
- Troubleshoot and support hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
- Install and configure software and hardware components on computers.
- Configure networks and resolve related issues.
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure network security and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support roles is required.
- In-depth understanding of Active Directory management and user account administration.
- Experience with Windows OS operations and standard software applications.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and DNS.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with help desk systems is a plus.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are an advantage.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
