Back-End Tech Lead

guaRdF is in stealth mode, building breakthrough technology at the intersection of wireless sensing, real-time analytics, and national-scale security. guaRdF solutions are already deployed globally, serving customers across multiple continents.

We’re looking for a hands-on Back-End Tech Lead to help us design and implement a scalable, secure infrastructure from the ground up. You'll be shaping our core system architecture, deploying real-world sensor networks, and solving challenges that go far beyond typical SaaS.

Must-Haves:

✅ B.A. in Computer Science / Engineering (or similar field)

✅ 5+ years of experience as a backend developer

✅ Deep experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM)

✅ Git (GitLab/GitHub) with CI/CD pipelines

✅ Python

✅ Linux systems knowledge

✅ Strong grasp of scalable architectures and microservices

Nice-to-Haves:

➕ Experience leading other developers

➕ Background in deep-tech or R&D environments (hardware/software integration)

➕ Familiarity with DevOps practices

➕ Bash scripting

➕ IoT technologies

➕ JavaScript / React / Node.js / TypeScript / Flask

➕ Experience working in the intelligence community or IDF tech units

You'll be joining a small, focused team working at the edge of what's possible in sensing, privacy, and situational awareness — with real-world deployments already in motion.
