Founding AI Engineer

We’re a venture-backed startup developing AI solutions to enhance enterprise communication. We’re seeking an experienced Backend Developer for a key role that combines building production-ready AI agents with creating the backend infrastructure to deliver their outputs to users.

This role offers the opportunity to own the full lifecycle of AI features, from agent development to deployment, contributing to systems used by major global organizations.

What You’ll Do

1. Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI agents using LangGraph, focusing on creating reliable, stateful workflows.
2. Build backend APIs and data pipelines to integrate agent outputs into user-facing dashboards and applications.
3. Develop scalable backend services and infrastructure in TypeScript (Node.js), ensuring high availability and performance.
4. Manage data handling at scale with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Temporal for both structured and unstructured datasets.
5. Oversee end-to-end monitoring, performance optimization, and reliability for AI agents and related APIs.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in developing production backend systems.

• Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, with a track record of delivering reliable applications.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying complex stateful systems; familiarity with LangGraph /llama index is a strong plus.

• Practical experience with Elasticsearch

• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems principles.

• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployments

• Effective communication skills and the ability to excel in a collaborative, dynamic team setting.

• Availability to work from our Tel Aviv office (adjacent to HaShalom Station) at least 4 days per week.
