Lead Business Analyst – Finance

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead Business Analyst to join our Finance Department, reporting directly to the CFO.

This is a unique opportunity to own and lead the entire domain of business reporting and analysis across the company. You’ll be the go-to expert for delivering high-impact insights to our executive team and driving data-informed decisions. While this is an individual contributor role, you will lead the function and collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the creation, management, and presentation of financial and business reports to support strategic planning
• Partner closely with the CFO and other C-level executives to identify key business questions and provide actionable insights
• Translate business needs into data models, reports, and visualizations to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Build and maintain dashboards that monitor company-wide KPIs
• Work cross-functionally with BI, Sales Ops, and other departments to align on metrics and reporting standards
• Identify and drive process improvements, efficiencies, and scalable solutions
  
  

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a B2B SaaS company
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of analytical domains
• Strong experience in financial analysis, business modeling, and performance measurement
• Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and Excel/Google Sheets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with senior leadership
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to simplify complex data
• Experience working with or alongside Finance teams
• Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot – an advantage
