Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for a Shift Supervisor. You will be responsible for monitoring and directing production activities on the production line. This position requires in-depth knowledge of production process technology as well as experience in managing manufacturing operators.

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.

The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What You Will Be Doing

• To supervise and coordinate production activities, including planning, resource allocation and work process management.
• To monitor production processes to ensure they are efficient, effective and meet quality standards.
• To collaborate with different production teams (Maintenance, QA, planning etc.) to identify and resolve process inefficiencies, equipment failures, and other issues affecting production efficiency.
• To manage and train production personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively and safely.
• To conduct regular inspections and safety checks to ensure safety protocols are followed and all equipment is operating properly.
• To manage in compliance with safety goals and 5 S goals of the department.
  
  

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field - an advantage
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies
• Experience with process improvement and optimization
• Effective time-management and organizational abilities
• Mastery of OFFICE software, ability to work with production floor management software
• Willingness to work in a challenging environment, responsibility, precision training, employee motivation and good human relations.
