Cloud Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the adoption and success of two strategic products:

AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP (AWS enterprise storage flagship)

NetApp Workload Factory (our workload optimization and management platform)

You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, product management, field sales, and customer success, representing customer needs inward and product innovation outward.

In This Role, You Will

• Act as the technical advisor for NetApp and AWS field teams – supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Identify adoption barriers, escalate product gaps, and influence the Workload Factory roadmap.
• Design and optimize cloud architectures for critical workloads, including databases, VMware, GenAI, Kubernetes, and more.
• Build and deliver technical enablement, including reference architectures, workshops, and demos.
• Lead customer engagements directly when needed, championing usage expansion and satisfaction.
• Analyze workload usage and advise on best practices, cost optimizations, and automation.
• Work cross-functionally with AWS SA teams and NetApp Engineering on complex customer solutions.
  
  

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud solution architecture, storage engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Deep expertise with AWS services – especially FSx, EC2, EBS/EFS, CloudFormation, IAM.
• Ability to present technical concepts clearly to developers, architects, and executives.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proactive, structured thinker, able to balance short-term wins with strategic goals.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications-

• Strong understanding of at least one workload domain: relational databases, VMware, AI/ML, Kubernetes, or other business applications.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Advanced Specialties (Storage, Database, Machine Learning).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
