Senior Industrial Designer

CustoMED revolutionizes surgical planning and execution by leveraging automation and AI to transform medical imaging into 3D visualizations, plan procedures, and generate personalized 3D-printed surgical solutions. The company simplifies the process and delivers surgical excellence through a surgeon-first intuitive interface.

We’re hiring a Senior Industrial Designer to lead the design of patient-specific surgical tools derived from medical imaging and produced via 3D printing. This role combines industrial design, parametric modeling, and real clinical impact.

You will:

• Design patient-specific surgical tools that are functional, ergonomic, and optimized for 3D printing
• Build and maintain parametric Grasshopper models to automate and scale our R&D workflows
• Collaborate daily with surgeons, engineers, and industry partners
• Own the end-to-end design process, from concept to prototyping to print-ready output

Who you are

• Expert in Grasshopper and parametric design
• Experienced in industrial/product design, ideally for medical or mechanical devices
• Skilled in hands-on prototyping and fast iteration
• Confident in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and confident communicating with leading clinicians as part of your daily routine
