Our dynamic team of innovators and seasoned entrepreneurs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join us and be a major part of our growth.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Memcyco Ltd, you will be a key team member responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud software, ensuring a reliable, scalable, and secure product. You will work closely with our security experts, data scientists, product management, and QA teams to advance cutting-edge capabilities of cyber detection, protection and management.

• Development: You will own the development of major features and new capabilities, either end-to-end or in collaboration with other team members.
• Sound Engineering practices: Lead the design of new components and features of our cloud software products, ensuring reliability, maintainability, scale and performance, as well as refactoring ones we have needed to refactor.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development team members and security teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that enhance the overall usability, security, accuracy and performance of our products.

• Java programming: Our primary programming language in use is Java, supplemented by some NodeJS components for internal use. The client-side web interface is written in JavaScript.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience as a full-stack developer, building high-scale production environments over public cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS
• High scale: Familiar and hands-on experience working with data pipelines for near real-time processing (e.g., Kafka) and big data analysis frameworks.
• Containerization: Proven experience with Dockers, Containers, and Kubernetes.
• Security Focus: A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security features.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
• CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and building new ones
