Information Systems Specialist

Position: Information Systems Specialist (PLM) – Defense Company, Haifa

Job Description:

We are seeking an Information Systems Engineer to join a leading defense company in Haifa, specializing in the PLM domain.

Responsibilities:

• Specification, customization, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new PLM system capabilities, both on the server and client sides.
• Maintenance of web services and complex integrations with interfacing information systems.
• System upgrades, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Working with ETL tools.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., system analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams).

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, or equivalent training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Systems roles.
• Programming experience in languages such as C or Java.
• Experience working with databases (SQL or Oracle).
• High-level English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Advantage: Experience with developing Web Services using REST technology, and working with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Significant advantage: Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter PLM or equivalent systems.
• Advantage: Experience leading Information Systems projects.
