Electronics Buyer

A leading global company is hiring an Electronics Buyer for a full-time position in Netanya!

Job Responsibilities:

• Procurement of electronic components for development and production, with a focus on quality aspects
• Entering purchase orders, tracking them, and updating the system accordingly
• Full responsibility for the order process – from placement to receipt in the warehouse and supplier payment
• Ongoing interaction with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance departments
• Daily communication with suppliers in Israel and abroad
• Initiative and process improvement

Requirements:

• Education: Practical Engineer / Industrial & Management Engineer or any relevant academic degree in the field of electronics
• At least 3 years of experience as a Buyer in an industrial company with knowledge of the local and global components market
• Expertise and understanding in electronic components procurement
• Strong negotiation skills across various deal sizes
• Well-developed commercial capabilities and experience in closing large-scale contracts
• In-depth knowledge of suppliers in the electronics/electromechanics field, both in Israel and internationally
• Experience with general procurement: including products and services needed for daily company operations, such as: consulting and support agreements, office furniture and equipment, IT and computing, facility maintenance, electronic testing equipment, engineering software, training and courses, and more
• Experience working with the Priority ERP system
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and datasheets
