QA Team Leader

We’re on the hunt for a sharp and mission-driven QA Team Leader to join our Apps Platform group – the tech behind hundreds of apps powering millions of gamers worldwide.

As our QA Captain, you’ll lead a small but mighty team of manual QA experts while staying hands-on with testing across our core platform components and SDKs. You’ll work closely with devs, PMs, and creators to ensure everything we ship is robust, reliable, and ready for the spotlight.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Take full ownership of quality across multiple platform components and SDKs.
• Manage, mentor, and support the QA team while assigning and overseeing testing tasks.
• Build and maintain structured test plans for ongoing releases and iterations.
• Dive deep into the Overwolf platform and gain expert-level understanding of its inner workings.
• Own and optimize our QA infrastructure, including managing tests in Testmo.
• Actively support internal developers and third-party creators via Slack and other channels.
• Provide clear, actionable QA feedback to improve tools and developer-facing documentation.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience as a QA lead.
• 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer.
• Strong technical affinity with confidence in SDKs, APIs, and dev environments.
• Hands-on experience with test planning and test management tools (Testmo is a plus).
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture.
