SERVER DEVELOPER

A leading insurance company based in Petah Tikva is looking for a server developer in the open systems team to develop advanced core financial systems.
The development is based on open technologies (Java / Spring / Gradle) in modern development configurations.
Working with many interfaces in the organization, full participation in formulating solutions and implementing decisions on the technological side.
Mandatory professional requirements (education, experience)
• Proven experience of 5 years or more in Java - version 8 or higher.
o Experience and understanding of OO-based development.
o Proven work experience with Java in writing APIs and working under the Spring shell.
o Experience working with Gradle / Maven (Gradle preferred).
• Proven work experience with relational and non-relational DBs: MongoDB, Oracle and Sql-Server.
• Proven work experience with Linux.
• Understanding of REST API-based architecture.
• Knowledge and familiarity with work methods and tools such as Jenkins, GIT, Postman.
• Version support: Ability to support production and version failures as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science.

Advantageous requirements
• Working with DB2.
• Experience writing tests – Junit.
• Working with Containers.
