Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for an R&D Engineer. As an R&D Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing research and development projects that include new products, materials, processes, and equipment in compliance with the corporate development procedure and production buy-off.

Job Location:

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.

The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What will you do:

• Lead and execute research and development projects that include new products, materials, processes, and equipment in compliance with the corporate development procedure and production buy off.
• Be responsible for product architecture, delivering pragmatic solutions in projects involving multiple internal and external teams and suppliers.
• Lead product and process design improvement, based on deep understanding of resistors' performance, related physical characteristics, failure modes and production environment.
• Support other departments, especially Marketing, Quality and Engineering with professional assistance, problem solving techniques and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with divisional and other Vishay functions and teams to promote tasks, projects and related assignments

What will you bring along:

• Proven experience as an engineer in an industrial-oriented environment, an academic background in material engineering \ physics and familiar with project and risk management techniques, DoE planning and able to prepare and deliver reporting and presentations adjusted to the audience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, under pressure & with multiple tasks – both as a leader and a member and able to facilitates transparent decision process across different management and engineering levels.
• Ability to acquire data with clear recommendations and conclusions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Languages: Fluent in Hebrew and English – verbal and written
