Software Architect

One of our clients, an innovative early-stage startup operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence and data infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the development of its SaaS platform from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering team at an early stage and help shape both the product and the company culture.

The company is focused on building next-generation tools that leverage cutting-edge technologies, including conversational AI, Agentic workflows, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs), to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. You'll work directly with the founding team and play a critical role in defining the architectural foundation and engineering practices of the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and build an entire SaaS platform from scratch.
• Make key design decisions that will shape the product for years to come.
• Develop secure, scalable systems suitable for enterprise deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the founders on product roadmap, features, and development timelines.
• Establish core engineering principles such as code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or architectural roles.
• Proven track record in building and scaling SaaS platforms for enterprise customers.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Python and Node.js.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to independently drive architecture, design, and implementation.
• Deep understanding of production standards in areas such as security, scalability, and maintainability.
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in data engineering environments and tools like dbt, Spark, AWS Glue, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Exposure to products built for technical users or those leveraging natural language and LLMs.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like React and TypeScript.
• Prior startup experience or a “builder” mindset.
