We are looking for Process Engineer Overseas Assignment (China)

Job description:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Process Engineer to oversee production activities at a contract manufacturer site in China. This role involves supervising the technical and operational aspects of outsourced manufacturing to ensure compliance with our company’s standards in quality, efficiency, and process consistency. The successful candidate will act as the main technical liaison between our internal teams and the external manufacturing partner.

This position will require short term assignments to China for periods of 3 weeks at a time, every month.

Requirements:

• 3 + years of experience as a Process Development Engineer.
• Advantage for candidates with Experience working in the semiconductor assembly field.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and intercultural skills.
• Proven experience conducting failure analysis investigations and designing experiments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  
  

• Manufacturing and Data Analysis: Statistics, DOE, JMP
• Python /LabVIEW – an advantage.
  
  

• Degree in Engineering or Physics
  
  

• Oversee production operations at the contract manufacturing site to ensure compliance with process standards and product specifications.
• Monitor production KPIs, identify process deviations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with the contract manufacturer to implement and sustain process improvements.
• Serve as the technical point of contact between the contract manufacturer and the headquarters team.
• Conduct audits, process validations, and risk assessments as required.
• Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and training related to new or revised processes.
