Planning and Control Group Manager

A leading biotech company is looking for a Planning and Control Group Manager.

Reports to the Supply Chain Department Manager and managing a team.

Responsibilities:

The group is responsible for the operational and global planning of the plant, with key activities including:

• Production planning, capacity/load planning, and raw material management (MRP).
• Data management and Bill of Materials (BOM) management within the ERP system.
• Packaging engineering and leading plant-wide projects.
• Coordination between divisions, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and market demands.
• Supporting process improvements, operational performance metrics, ERP system implementation and maintenance (Oracle Applications), and financial operational support.

This role responsible to lead and manage a team of 4-5 planners and engineers. Oversee production and packaging planning, ensuring alignment with forecasts and supply chain requirements. Act as the primary ERP-Oracle R12 user, supporting system operations and optimizations. Manage packaging engineering, operational process improvements, and key performance indicators. Serve as a liaison with the global parent company and internal departments while maintaining direct customer relationships. Contribute to long-term business planning and operational reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management – Mandatory.
• Managerial experience in production planning, including leading a team of at least three employees for a minimum of three years – Mandatory.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of presenting to local and global senior management.
• Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment – Mandatory.
• Experience in the pharma/biotech industry – Advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel – Mandatory.
• Fluent English – Mandatory; global work experience is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP – Advantage).
