Chief Technology Officer

We’re seeking a visionary and hands-on Chief Technology Officer to join us as a founding partner in a deep-tech venture that is building the next generation of education infrastructure in Israel and scaling across the US K-12 system.

Our platform leverages multimodal AI, federated learning, and real-time data to give educators, districts, social workers, and policymakers the insights they need to intervene early, support effectively, and help every student thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, while unlocking significant revenue recovery for schools.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full technological vision and execution
• Build a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform (web and mobile) with strict logical data separation across districts and CMOs
• Deliver a deep-tech AI moat using privacy-preserving Federated Learning and Explainable AI
• Ensure compliance with SOC2 Type II, FERPA, Israeli Privacy Law, ISO 27001/27701, and Ministry of Education cybersecurity requirements
• Achieve Ed-Fi Certification and implement OneRoster 1.2 integrations with leading SIS platforms such as PowerSchool and Infinite Campus
• Deliver fast MVP iterations while planning for long-term scale and performance
• Recruit and lead the founding engineering team to build a world-class platformy

What Are We Looking For?

• Experienced Full-Stack Leader with hands-on experience using Node.js or Python (FastAPI or Django REST Framework), Vue 3 or React, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Cloud Architecture Expertise, including deploying and scaling infrastructure on GCP, using Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring, auto-scaling, and observability
• Modern Software Architect, focused on performance, modularity, security, reliability, and long-term maintainability
• Responsible AI and Predictive Analytics Familiarity, including experience or exposure to ML models, NLP, anomaly detection, multimodal analytics, or Federated Learning
• MVP Agility with Scale in Mind, able to move fast while building for future complexity
• User-Centric Product Thinking, committed to clean UX, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Bonus experience in EdTech or GovTech, K-12 systems, Ed-Fi or OneRoster standards, or working with highly sensitive public sector data
