Artificial Intelligence Engineer

A startup operating in the High-Performance Computing (HPC) domain, developing the next generation of chips based on breakthrough algorithms designed to power supercomputers. These systems are built to tackle massive challenges across industries such as space, healthcare, energy, and finance.

The company is based in central Israel (near a train station), offers a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week, employs around 300 people globally most of them in Israel and was founded by experienced entrepreneurs. To date, the company has raised over $300M, including $100M in the past year alone.

The role:

Join a newly established team responsible for building AI infrastructure and developing solutions to optimize AI models, working directly with the company’s proprietary chip architecture. This is primarily an engineering role aimed at improving the performance of HPC and AI systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Build models to analyze workload behavior of Deep Learning systems
• Identify bottlenecks and implement optimization solutions at both software and hardware levels
• Work at the intersection of Software Engineering, Hardware Architecture, and ML Algorithms
• Focus on performance analysis (profiling), modeling, and performance optimization of AI models
• Develop in Python and C/C++
• Work extensively with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Collaborate directly on the structure of AI systems running on dedicated hardware
• Help define and develop the next generation of software infrastructure for the company’s platforms

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer in C/C++
• Strong affinity to AI and AI models
• Must have experience in multidisciplinary companies involving Hardware-Software integration, Semiconductors, or Chip development
• BSc or higher degree from a recognized university – mandatory
