We are looking for an Aerial Photography Development Manager to join the Airborne Imaging team in the ISTAR & EW Division in Rehovot

The team focuses on the development of advanced airborne electro-optical systems for fighter aircraft applications, combining multidisciplinary expertise and cutting-edge hardware and software technologies

Responsibilities

Lead the development and production of an airborne photography system comprised of a multi-spectral electro-optical pod and a ground-based planning and analysis station

Serve as the technical authority for the system, managing detailed design, integration, and validation of technical requirements

Make critical development decisions based on trade-off analysis across multiple engineering domains

Oversee hardware and software integration processes, system delivery, and customer support

Provide technical support to existing aerial imaging customers across diverse projects and platforms

Coordinate development efforts with multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering – mandatory

At least 5 years of proven experience in leading multidisciplinary system development programs in the electro-optical domain

Experience in creating work plans and managing project budgets

Experience in developing military-grade electro-optical systems

Background as a system engineer in hardware/software intensive projects

Strong system-level thinking and technical leadership

Ability to manage and lead development processes in a matrix organization

Fast learner with analytical capabilities for complex subjects

High motivation, thoroughness, and ownership mentality

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and lead multidisciplinary teams

Willingness to travel abroad

High proficiency in English
