Data Engineer for Monitoring and Analysis Team

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SQL and databases to join REM's monitoring and analysis team, which is part of REM's Production Operations group. Mobileye’s Road Experience Management (REM) is an end-to-end mapping and localization engine which is used for full autonomy capabilities and services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring efficient and reliable data pipelines and monitoring solutions.

What will your job look like:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes using SQL and cloud-native tools.
• Build new data schemas and maintain and improve existing schemes.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets (Redshift, Aurora, Athena, etc.).
• Manage data pipelines, storage, and orchestration in AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures or performance issues.
• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud data infrastructure (S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.).
  
  

• 2+ years of experience with SQL (Postgres is a plus), data modeling, data warehousing, and building ELT/ETL pipelines – MUST
• Proven experience in Python
• Deep understanding of distributed data processing architecture and tools such as Spark, Kubernetes and Kafka
• Familiarity with quicksight, logz.io, cloudwatch and other big data technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS services
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
