This role is a key member of our executive team, with a direct influence on company-wide revenue and growth. As VP of Sales, you’ll be responsible for shaping our sales strategy, leading and mentoring a dynamic sales team, and driving expansion across existing and new markets. Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, growth-driven VP of Sales with a CRO mindset to lead our sales organization and drive the company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing the sales strategy; managing sales, affiliates, and retention; and overseeing collections (with responsibility shared in coordination with the company’s COO), while overseeing the entire customer lifecycle, from lead generation to renewal and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the company’s sales strategy aligned with business goals, across sales, retention, and upselling.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor high-performing sales, retention, and revenue assurance teams.
- Own and optimize the full customer lifecycle: lead generation, acquisition, onboarding, engagement, renewal, and expansion.
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual business development plans, KPIs, and revenue targets.
- Analyze sales performance and generate detailed reports and forecasts for executive management.
- Continuously improve sales, marketing, and branding.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Implement, launch, and scale new products and services.
- Build and scale a successful affiliate program and partner/channel model.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, product, and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in cloud, SaaS, or digital service industries.
- Proven track record of business growth, revenue expansion, and scaling operations.
- Strong background in team management and performance leadership.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and BI tools, with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Deep experience working with SMB customers and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers in enterprise organizations.
- Experience with affiliate program management and channel operations.
- Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following fields: Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Law.
- Master’s degree – an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, hosting, cybersecurity, or IT professional services – a significant advantage.
