The Role

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing manual verification of our medical systems. You’ll ensure the quality of each release while working closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams in a regulated environment.

Position scope: Full-time on-site

Location: Yokneam Illit

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive manual test plans (system, integration, GUI, communications).
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents.
• Log, investigate and track bugs across software, firmware, and hardware interfaces.
• Prepare software release documentation (ECR/ECO) and contribute to DHF updates.
• Support risk analysis and verification documentation per ISO 13485 and IEC 62304.
• Work closely with R&D, RA/QA, and manufacturing to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Mentor and manage one junior Software QA engineer, including task planning and professional guidance.
• Drive process improvements and support onboarding of new QA practices and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on manual software QA in multidisciplinary or regulated environments.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with medical device standards.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills in English.
• Proficiency in Jira.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with test automation.
