The Opportunity:
ROOMS is looking for an Facilities & Operations Lead– a strategic, hands-on leader to drive operational and facilities excellence across our nationwide network. This includes managing maintenance and building systems, leading on-site facility projects, working closely with suppliers and handyman teams, supporting new location openings, and constantly improving processes and tools. If you combine a field-driven mindset with a sharp operational approach – this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage and optimize day-to-day operations and maintenance across all ROOMS locations
🔹 Oversee facility infrastructure: cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, electricity, safety, furniture, repairs
🔹 Manage suppliers and service providers: handyman teams, technicians, logistics, and equipment vendors
🔹 Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and service standards are met
🔹 Support opening of new locations – from setup coordination to systems installation
🔹 Oversee inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations
🔹 Lead operational improvement projects: upgrades, maintenance plans, cost-saving initiatives
🔹 Support tech tools implementation: member app, printers, communication systems
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams – community, IT, design, and procurement
Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of hands-on experience in operations and facilities roles (commercial or hospitality preferred)
✅ Strong understanding of building maintenance and service provider coordination
✅ Experience working with handyman teams, technicians, or facility management companies
✅ Project management skills – ability to lead small-medium facility upgrades end-to-end
✅ Tech orientation – comfortable working with digital tools and systems
✅ Independent, proactive, solution-oriented, and highly organized
✅ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
