One of our clients, a fast-growing eCommerce company (approx. 100 employees), is hiring a Director of Marketing.
This tech-enabled D2C brand combines innovative physical products with thoughtful design and a seamless customer experience. After reaching $60M in annual revenue within just two years, the company is now entering its next phase of global expansion.
This role includes full ownership of an annual marketing budget of $15 million, requiring a leader who can balance strategic allocation with ongoing optimization to maximize ROI across multiple geographies and channels.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy across performance, content, CRM, and creative
• Own and optimize acquisition and retention in core markets (primarily US and Europe)
• Build and scale a high-performing marketing team and infrastructure
• Combine data-driven decision-making with compelling, emotionally resonant brand storytelling
• Oversee multi-channel execution, including paid, organic, and re-engagement strategies
• Ensure consistent brand positioning and customer experience across all channels
• Lead market analysis, customer insights, and competitive research to shape brand and product strategy
Experience & Qualifications
- Significant experience in D2C or B2C environments involving physical consumer products (not just SaaS or service-based models)
- Proven success in scaling brands – including revenue growth, entering new markets (especially the US), and managing aggressive marketing expansion
- Demonstrated expertise in Performance Marketing, including User Acquisition and Retention strategies across paid, owned, and organic channels
- Deep understanding of Brand Messaging, including the ability to lead creative direction and develop a consistent, compelling brand voice
- Hands-on experience managing and mentoring a multi-disciplinary marketing team (performance, creative, content, retention, analytics)
- Strong analytical orientation, including advanced skills in measurement, attribution modeling, and data-based decision-making
- Consistent and relevant career progression, showing evolution from tactical campaign management to strategic marketing leadership
