AI Researcher | Computer Vision & Signal Processing - JB-478

We are looking for talented AI researcher with strong expertise in image processing and signal processing to develop advanced AI models for integration into defense robotics systems. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects involving autonomous systems and intelligent robotics for security applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop state-of-the-art AI models for robotic perception and decision-making

• Research and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, and scene understanding

• Develop signal processing techniques for multisensor fusion and data interpretation

• Create and optimize deep learning models for real-time deployment on robotic platforms

• Conduct research on autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and path planning algorithms

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize model performance for embedded systems

• Analyze and process large-scale sensor datasets from various modalities

• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences

• Stay current with latest developments in AI, robotics, and defense technologies

• Participate in technology transfer activities and prototype development

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including robotics engineers, data scientists, and defense specialists

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of research experience in computer vision and/or signal processing

• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and relevant AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV)

• Proven experience with deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.)

• Expertise in image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition

• Experience with signal processing techniques and multi-sensor data fusion

• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, statistics, and optimization

• Publications in top-tier AI/robotics conferences or journals

• Security clearance eligibility

• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics platforms and autonomous systems

• Knowledge of real-time systems and embedded computing

• Background in defense or security applications

• Experience with reinforcement learning and autonomous decision-making

• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics middleware

• Experience with GPU computing and parallel processing

• Knowledge of adversarial AI and robust machine learning techniques

• Previous experience working with classified or sensitive research projects
