About the Role

RealSense is looking for a skilled and experienced hands-on Head of IT, with strong technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment and play a key role in shaping and scaling the IT infrastructure. This role is located in Haifa (Matam), Israel.

What we're looking for

• 5–7 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management in a global organization.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional IT teams, managing vendors, and working with third-party service providers.
• Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and RnD labs.
• Experience in planning, deploying, and maintaining IT systems, network architectures, and security frameworks.
• Background in startups, scale-ups, or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as:
• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

CISSP or CISM (especially for cybersecurity-focused roles)

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with enterprise systems, software deployment, troubleshooting, and IT lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with data protection, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to scale IT environments in dynamic and fast-paced organizations.
• Understanding of IT compliance and risk management standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
