HW Project Manager

Position Description:

Reports to HW R&D Manager

Proficiency in HW development methodology- milestones, reviews, etc… Takes part in product development throughout the product life cycle. Responsible for aspects of mechanical development of the current and future company products.

Proficiency in Roadmap, managing project’s scope and timeline, tracking key milestones, manage KPI’s, key dependencies. Responsible to meet tight schedules and meet milestones.

Analyze, plan and develop marketing requirements

Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects . Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities, action items, integration points, cross and within teams.

Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration

Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

Proficiency in managing external sub-contractors for development and production.

Responsible for transferring to production of the company products

Participating in mechanical aspects of the V&V, CE and FDA submission, including protocol writing, testing, test reports, etc.

Requirements:

Education B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from known institution– required

3+ years of experience in leading mechanical design of multidisciplinary electro-mechanical systems.

Knowledge in SolidWorks or other CAD S

Design for manufacturing. Familiar with production technologies: machining, sheet metal, plastic injection molding etc…

Independent work capability, time and tasks managing, high interpersonal and communication skills

Hands-on approach to electro- mechanical assembly. Hands-on approach to assembly and testing of own alpha units.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Language Skills (Verbal And Read/write)- Hebrew And English Required

It is beneficial if you also have any of the following:

System engineering background

Previous experience as electro-mechanical design engineer

Experience in medical device industry - advantage

Familiar with dynamic/ motion mechanisms design

Design of complex and miniature mechanisms

Industrial machines design
