Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead a new team of skilled software engineers, setting a high technical and cultural bar.
• Recruit, grow, and mentor top engineering talent, ensuring a healthy and high-performing team.
• Define and evolve the platform’s technical architecture and roadmap, from early design to scaled implementation.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of product delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, DevOps, Data, and other stakeholders to align on goals and drive execution.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-availability payment services and infrastructure.
• Build systems with future scale, extensibility, and compliance in mind.
  
  

• Proven leadership experience, including 5+ years leading engineers, with a track record of hiring, growing, and managing high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience in building and scaling payments or fintech systems.
• Strong platform engineering background, including microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and versioned APIs.
• Deep knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory considerations in fintech/payments.
• Demonstrated success in taking products from 0 → 1 in fast-paced environments.
• Backend-focused, with working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, proactive mindset.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
