Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced RT Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team, developing mission-critical systems for the defense industry. This is a hands-on role involving real-time software development, close hardware interaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement real-time embedded software in C/C++
• Integrate software with custom hardware platforms and sensors
• Design drivers and middleware components for embedded targets
• Debug, test, and optimize embedded code in lab and field conditions
• Collaborate with system engineers, hardware teams, and QA
• Write clear and structured technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in real-time embedded development
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, including low-level programming
• Hands-on experience with RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.)
• Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers
• Experience in multi-threaded environments and real-time constraints

Preferred Skills:

• Background in defense/aerospace systems
• Experience with ARM Cortex or other embedded platforms
• Knowledge of secure coding and embedded cybersecurity concepts
• Familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG
• Understanding of software lifecycle in regulated environments
