System Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented System Engineer to join our multidisciplinary development team in a leading defense technology company. The System Engineer will play a key role in defining system-level solutions, leading engineering efforts across the development lifecycle, and ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and communications components in complex defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and analyze system requirements and architecture for defense-grade solutions
• Lead system design processes, including trade-off analysis, risk assessment, and performance modeling
• Serve as the technical focal point between engineering disciplines (hardware, software, algorithms, etc.)
• Create and maintain system specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and system-level test plans
• Oversee integration and validation activities in both lab and field environments
• Ensure system compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and customer requirements
• Support customer-facing activities such as design reviews, technical documentation, and system demonstrations

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in system engineering, preferably in the defense/aerospace industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of complex system architectures
• Experience in writing system requirements, specifications, and test procedures
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary environments (hardware, software, mechanics, RF, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Hebrew an advantage

Advantages:

• Experience with defense platforms (e.g., C4I systems, EO systems, radar, UAVs, etc.)
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., SysML, Cameo)
• Experience with military standards and system certification processes
• Background in integration and testing of embedded systems
