Experimental Physicist – Optics and Optomechanics
We’re looking for a hands-on physicist with strong technical instincts and a broad experimental skill set to join a team developing a new product from the ground up.
Responsibilities:- Conduct physical experiments and measurements in lab and field settings
- Define and characterize components and systems in an early-stage development process
- Work with optical, opto-mechanical, and fiber-optic components
- Design and implement test setups and measurement protocols
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electronics, and system engineers
- B.Sc. in Physics required; M.Sc. strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with experimental setups and physical measurements
- Familiarity with optical and opto-mechanical components
- Strong technical intuition and ability to work independently with lab equipment
- Creative, problem-solving mindset
- Experience with fiber optics
- Experience in multidisciplinary hardware development
- Familiarity with precision optical instrumentation (lasers, spectrometers, interferometers)
