Creative Technology Lead

We’re looking for a visionary Creative Technology Lead to shape the future of creativity at Lightricks. Sitting at the intersection of visual design, generative AI, and product innovation, this leadership role is responsible for bridging artistic expression with cutting-edge technology.

You’ll work closely with product managers and tech researchers to bring our boldest generative features to life. You’ll lead ideation, experimentation, prototyping, development, and refinement, ensuring our users have access to the latest developments in generative video and imagery..

What you will be doing

• Lead & Mentor: Guide a team of creative technologists, develop their skills, define methodology and best practices, setting creative standards and fostering a culture of innovation
• Bridge Disciplines: Collaborate with tech research and product teams to define and develop GenAI-powered creative features — from early ideation to launch
• Ideate & build: develop creative solutions using visual and language models that enable our users to bring their creative vision to life
• Establish Expertise: Define workflows, methodologies, and best practices that position your team as internal subject matter experts
• Drive Vision: Contribute to the strategic creative direction of LTX Studio and help define the future of generative storytelling tools
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• 7+ years of experience in creative fields like VFX, post-production, motion design, or visual storytelling
• Proven leadership experience — either managing a team or directing multidisciplinary projects
• Strong visual design aesthetic, with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across styles and mediums
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., comfyUI, Runway, Pika Labs, D-ID) and an understanding of foundational AI concepts
• Ability to collaborate across functions and clearly communicate both creative vision and technical ideas
• Experience in architecting GenAI workflows — including automation, orchestration, and integration with APIs
• Animation or motion graphics expertise - a big plus
• Experience in innovation labs, R&D teams, or early-stage AI startups - an advantage
• Basic scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, expressions) - an advantage
• Active in creative tech or AI communities (e.g., Discord, Reddit) - an advantage
