Lenovo Digital Trust Lab seeks a visionary and hands-on Security RD Leader to drive the cybersecurity, privacy, and digital trust strategy across our full spectrum of devices, infrastructure, and services. In this critical role, you will lead the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge security solutions tailored to both current product lines and future innovation roadmaps, while ensuring seamless alignment with business needs and hybrid AI-driven initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead RD efforts across all product lines, focusing on cybersecurity, privacy, and trust in devices, infrastructure, and digital services.
• Own and evolve the IT supporting cybersecurity and AI research and innovation.
• Design and implementation of systems across device-level, firmware, OS, and cloud/service layers.
• Drive integration of hybrid AI technologies into product security frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product management, business leaders, and engineering to translate security and trust requirements into impactful features and resilient architectures.
• Tailor cybersecurity solutions by evaluating, integrating, and co-developing with third-party vendors to address product and infrastructure-specific needs.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging security technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the threat landscape.
  
  

• 5+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity RD, including managing complex, multidisciplinary teams and initiatives.
• Deep technical expertise in low-level security, including areas such as embedded security, secure boot, firmware, OS internals, and device trust models.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing infrastructure and systems security for large-scale environments.
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with product and business teams to align security strategies with business needs.
• Experience partnering with third-party security vendors, including integration and joint solution development.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

• Experience with AI and machine learning security, including hybrid AI system integration and adversarial ML defense.
• Background in building and maintaining RD and experimentation infrastructure for cybersecurity research.
• Knowledge of security in cloud-native environments, edge computing, and secure software supply chains.
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in a product-focused tech company or innovation lab, especially at the intersection of devices, services, and cybersecurity.
