Product Engineering Team Leader

What we are looking for:

The Engineering department at Nova is looking for a Product Technical Team Leader to be responsible of End-to-End system engineering related aspects.

Nova’s Engineering department is part of R&D division.

You will be leading team of engineers, responsible for overseeing all NPI-related processes, ensuring manufacturability and sustainability across Nova’s multidisciplinary products, including both hardware and software. Working hand in hand with R&D, Service and Ops interfaces.

What will you be doing:

• Leading a team of Product engineers as part of Engineering department
• Supervise and take part in Designs, Testing, Deliveries and support
• Serve as a system authority for the team’s activities, among them:
• Early NPI activities, new tools design
• Production line, Service- escalation’s support
• EOL alternative tests, Root cause analysis and Qualifications
• Cost reduction and design improvements
• Establish strong interfaces with surrounding Ops, Service and R&D teams to ensure aligned delivery of Nova’s tools
• Take an active role in early R&D stages, representing NPI perspective: DFm, concept and feasibility reviews, design reviews and test reviews
• Own the team’s deliverables to support transfer to production (TTP) and service (TTS) processes, tool system qual, sw qual, tool Integration, EOL, Quality and sustain activities
• Engage innovation, new ideas for improve
• Continuous progression of team member’s proficiency and professionality

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or Practical Engineer, Electronics/ Mechanics
• 6 years’ experience in multi-disciplinary industry, manufacturing company
• Experience with NPI activity, Transfer To Production, R&D support, Engineering processes
• Semiconductor industry- high advantage
• M.Sc. System / Electro-optics / Physics- advantage
• English – High level
