📣 We're Hiring! Senior Embedded Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team in Herzliya and play a key role in developing cutting-edge smart home security systems.

🎯 What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our smart security hub and peripheral devices.
• Work with Embedded Linux (Yocto), FreeRTOS, and Bare Metal systems.
• Implement multi-process and networking protocols to ensure robust communication.
• Develop scripts in Python and manage MySQL databases for system management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, architecture, and product integration.

🛠 What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent from a leading academic institution.
• 5+ years of experience in RT Embedded programming.
• Deep expertise in C and modern C++ (C++14 and up).
• Proven experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto), FreeRTOS, and Bare Metal systems.
• Solid understanding of OOD, Linux development, shell scripting, multi-threading, and networking (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS).
• Hands-on experience with wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, and cellular modems (e.g., TELIT HE910).
• Familiarity with Agile, Git, and Python for automation/testing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write design docs, work with hardware teams, and share progress effectively.
