VP Product & Marketing

A long-standing, privately held global leader in communication and access technologies is seeking a VP Product & Marketing to join its executive leadership team.

This is a key strategic role for a company that develops and manufactures cutting-edge hardware-software integrated solutions for telecom operators, critical infrastructure providers, and defense-related industries worldwide. The company operates in 150+ countries and is known for its robust technological innovation in legacy-to-IP transformation, network edge virtualization, and secure industrial IoT.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the Product Management and Business Development functions (~5 team members)
• Define and drive product vision and roadmap across global markets
• Act as the key interface between customers, sales, and R&D

Marketing Strategy & Execution

• Own global marketing strategy, brand positioning, content, and marcom
• Oversee technical writing and support for exhibitions and global events
• Lead partner training and distributor enablement activities
• Support go-to-market and thought leadership initiatives

Team & Reporting

• Manage a team of ~20, including 2 US-based team members
• Direct reports include product managers, marcom, technical writers, and GTM leads
• Reports directly to the CEO; member of the executive team alongside 6 other VPs

Ideal Background:

• 10+ years of marketing and product leadership experience in global B2B tech
• Strong background in hardware-software integrated solutions
• Experience working with telcos, infrastructure, or defense clients – a strong plus
• Hands-on, strategic, and technically savvy (engineering/technical degree preferred)
• Experience in companies such as: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, ECI, Adtran, Ericsson, etc.
