A well-funded AI HealthTech startup based in Tel Aviv is disrupting the health insurance space by developing an AI-powered platform that simplifies employee access to health benefits. At the core of the product is a 24/7 intelligent digital assistant based on advanced LLMs, helping users navigate insurance policies, eligibility, providers, prescriptions, appointments, and more.

The company serves over 15,000 customers and aims to dramatically improve health outcomes while significantly reducing costs for both employers and employees.

The company employs around 100 people and operates in a hybrid work model (two days per week from home).

The role includes-

• Joining the core Chatbot team responsible for the company’s flagship product.
• Developing and deploying production-grade ML and LLM models (~80% development, ~20% research).
• Building and optimizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for accurate access to medical data.
• Integrating advanced AI capabilities into product features to enhance user experience.
• Designing and maintaining evaluation frameworks to monitor and improve model performance.
• Following trends and research in GenAI, LLMs, and healthcare NLP.
• Contributing to the development of internal tools and evaluation processes.
• Working with technologies such as Python, Machine Learning, NLP, LLM, RAG, Vector Databases, AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization, CI/CD, and healthcare data.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field – required
• 5 years of experience as an Applied Data Scientist, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer – required
• Hands-on experience with NLP, LLMs, or working with language models – required
• Proven experience in Machine Learning – required
• Proficiency in Python (e.g., with libraries like Pandas) – required
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems – required
• Previous work experience in leading tech companies or startups – required
• Hands-on experience deploying models to production – required
• Experience working with cloud platforms (any provider) – required
• Experience with chatbots / Personal AI Assistants – strong advantage
• Background in leading HealthTech companies – advantage
